Right at the one mile mark, my calf felt like it was cramping severely. I stopped and tried to stretch it out, but to no avail. With the way it feels just walking, I'm thinking a couple of days off.... at least. Bummer...

I think that climbing the other day got you. Hopefully a day or two off will fix it!

Climbing can be a bit grueling. You use a lot of muscles. Get better!

What is the current status of the bum leg? Any progress?

It feels better now when walking, but if I try to break into a jog, I can feel the issue deep in the calf.
I've played this game before. Test it, hurt it, test it, hurt it. I just have to let it heal. I'll be woefully out of shape, but happy when this is done.
I've also been doing push-ups and light weights at the gym. Now only if I could stop eating. Sorry for the mini-novel :)

Give it at least a week to rest if it hurts to walk. You'll be even more out of shape if you drag this out a couple months like I did with mine :)

Man, that stinks. Not the mini-novel, but the situation. Hope you get back to it soon.

No progress yet on the calf?

Hey Joe.... it's feeling better. Might test it in the morning. Thanks for asking!
