I couldn't get out of bed this morning so the only option was 90' degree temps after work. I brought a water bottle with me and thought that the shade of the woods would help. Maybe a little bit.... but not much. I'll test the morning motivation again tomorrow.

I had intentions of getting up earlier to beat the heat and get more miles in this morning, but alas, it was not to happen. Out the door and running at 4:30am and it was already hot and muggy. My wife wanted to get her walk in this morning as well..... I only had time for two measly miles.

Earlier bird gets more miles!

At 6am this morning my wife and I went for a walk. We beat the rain on our 2.56 mile jaunt and had a nice start to the day :)

4 miles - garage treadmill (avg pace 7:28)

Here are a couple of shots pre Daddy/Daughter dance. It was a lot of fun.... arts and crafts tables, cupcake station (my favorite), tattoos, face painting, games and of course dancing. I didn't know what to expect for music, but they had all the popular stuff playing on the radio these days. Gaga, Rihanna, Black-Eyed Peas, Kesha.... and the list goes on.
