4:15am - 7.2 miles in 53:00. Incredibly cool out this morning! No humidity and I thought I saw my breath on the first couple of exhales.... perfect! My legs are still a little sore from Tuesday's total mileage, but I must push on.
Average pace for this morning was 7:21.... I was surprised and happy when the computer spit that number back at me.

Ran to Great Hill Conservation area and back to my house - 4.5 miles. Lots of Japanese beetles trying to get me off the trail. They were dive-bombing my head and trying to nest in the back of my afro.

After work 2.2 miles to Pratt's Brook loop and back - 20:24. I've got some lower belly pain that is nagging me right now. Wish I knew what it was.... feels like I've done a million sit-ups and can't get a full breath.
Went to the Gym with Wifey! Chest and Back. Finished the workout with 2 miles on the treadmill. It was my first time running on the gym treadmill..... seems like a lot of people knock the mill, but I actually enjoyed being able to look in the mirror and see my stride. I wouldn't be able to do it all the time, but in a pinch, it works.

4 miles @ work - lunch break - 29:49.
I ran about a mile from the Hospital to a trail head called Old Rifle Range Conservation Land. It's a 122 acre plot of land that was originally acquired for use as a rifle range for World War 1 troop training. Along the main trail there are 4 abutments with hardware spaced to provide targets at 200, 300, 600 and 1000 yards. Pretty cool trail. |

| Went to the High School track this morning with the family. 1.5 miles. I ran the first mile in 6:28..... a far way off from when I was younger. How do the elite athletes maintain those ridiculous times? |
