I took Paige my younger daughter out to the trails for some relaxed running and 4 hard hill charges. We met up with Gary and his daughter Mia. The idea is to get them ready for the upcoming travel soccer season. The girls did great.

I ran with Maggie my oldest daughter when I returned home. We did three miles and I kept telling her to slow down. She gassed a bit in the end. Good times.

The cool thing about Strava is once you follow someone, you can poach their running routes and try something different. You do in fact have to know where you are going once you pop out of the woods onto an unfamiliar road. My 50/50 chance of going left or right turned into the wrong decision and I had to call my wife from the next town over after running 11.8 miles.
I normally would have slogged it home those extra 5 miles, but instead of pissing people off and ruining the opportunity to do other things on a Sunday, I called for a ride and saved the day. I did not beat the eight minute man today.
