So Durenzo, You live near the race? Can you give me some advice about what to do, where my wife and daughter should watch, etc.? We are staying near Fenway Park (forgot exactly what motel). We are coming in mid-day Saturday and leaving Tuesday morning. I'm not sure why we didn't plan for a little longer stay, I just wasn't really thinking about anything but the race when I booked our tickets and room. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey Preston,
I live about 30 minutes west of the city.
To tell you the truth, I tend to stay out of the city if at all possible. A little to hectic at times for my taste. The girls, my wife and I have gone to the last 3 or 4 Boston Marathons and always head back to Newton at mile 19. It's fairly thinned out there and you get to see the elites clearly. Copy & paste this link for some good info :) Sorry I don't have better information, but I've only watched from two places... mile 19 & the couch.

Thanks for the info. I'll look over it.
