4.01 miles - 26:38

I decided to go up to the 4th floor of the hospital to hit up the "Old As Dirt" Cybex Trotter treadmill in our specified workout area/closet.  I knew going into the run that the treadmill has a pre-set time of 20 minutes per workout, so I wanted to see if I could squeeze in a 5k in the alotted time. (I assume the 20 minute setting is because the mill came from Cardiac Rehab and the department didn't  want anyone dying while trying to strengthen their compromised hearts)  I started off at a 7:30 pace and gradually increased after the first half mile or so setting into a 6:40 or so.  After two miles I was ready to drop the hammer on the last 1.1 miles, but alas Cardiac Rehab set the max pace to 6:00 miles.... BOO - BOO!!!!

The Treadmill shut down on me @ 3.01 miles in 20 minutes.  I ran another mile to round the total to 4 in a 6:38.  Sweating like a Sasquatch!
