2 mile warm up into a 4 mile (failed) tempo, followed by 2 miles back to work.  I call the tempo failed because I really don't know what my tempo pace should be and I took a 10-20 second reset after the first two tempo miles which were too fast for me.  I  could have gutted the whole 4 miles out at that pace and been a man, but I guess I just wasn't feeling that manly.

I love me a failed tempo... oh wait.

I wouldn't call this one a fail. I'm struggling figuring out where my paces are at now, too.

From Rhett on Wed, Jan 13, 2016 at 11:25:26 from 24.121.249.174

If that is a fail, you fail well. Looks like only one mile slowed down a bit but then you were right back down to the faster pace. I haven't run fast in so long, I don't know if I can anymore. :)

From Derunzo on Wed, Jan 13, 2016 at 13:35:38 from 173.9.52.242

I'm thinking my tempo pace should be around 6:40 - 6:45.

From Rhett on Wed, Jan 13, 2016 at 13:40:13 from 24.121.249.174

Well if you take the average of all the miles after the warm up, you almost nailed it!

From Matt Schreiber on Wed, Jan 13, 2016 at 14:05:09 from 66.17.107.219

Looks like if you start at 6:40 next time you'll be good! Given this 4 mile run.

From Rob Murphy on Wed, Jan 13, 2016 at 15:34:46 from 163.248.33.220

Tempos are too hard. We shouldn't do them.

From Tom K on Wed, Jan 13, 2016 at 18:00:14 from 66.87.122.16

I don't know man. I think you should be psyched about this run. Maybe I don't know enough about tempo runs.
