.34 miles - work treadmill (before it broke) - 20 minutes eliptical (first time)

I almost smashed my face on the control panel of the treadmill as it went from an 8:00 minute pace to a dead stop.  I couldn't get the mill to start up again, so I scanned the workout area until my eyes settled on the elliptical.  I thought to myself.....  I'm not going to get a good workout on this wacky looking thing.

20 minutes later.... my quads were screaming at me!  I will NEVER second guess the elliptical again.  I could barely make it down the four flights of stairs to my office.

My first ever run with a GARMIN.  Interesting run in my neighborhood with tons of snow and ice on the roads.  I made myself a pair of screw shoes with an old pair of asics.  They worked nice with no slippage.

2 miles (screw shoes) - 18:05

Very slow going on about 4" of semi-packed sidewalk snow.  I decided to go out on my lunch break and use my Garmin for the second time.  The snow was kind of like running on the soft sand at the beach.  A lot of deep spots, but overall fun.

4 miles - outside..... in the rain & slush

I was psyched to get outside with my Garmin again today. (New Toy)

7:29 - 7:18 - 7:53 - 7:15.
