5am - and away we go! First mile was 8:24.... setting a new land speed record on that one:) I picked it up after that and managed a low 7 minute pace for the next 5ish miles. I saw two deer at the 3 mile mark and spooked them good. It's amazing how effortless and fast they run.

First mile was a 7:48. I picked it up after that when I had a rabbit on High St. Dude in soccer shorts was pushing the pace and trying to fend me off. I would have none of it and he set the tone for the next 7.63 miles..... I ended up tempoing them at a 6:48 pace.
